Can you say more about the AI human disagreement? I agree with the AI, and think the human is being thrown off by the handwriting.

I think it must be very hard to evaluate pupil progress against the quality of feedback. There are so many variables not least whether pupils have grown up in a learning culture where feedback, whether written or verbal, group or individual is the accepted norm. And also whether this is used consistently within a school. And whether teachers make time for the kids to take in what's been said or written. And given opportunities to apply it. Or to disagree with it. The project focused on year 6 pupils. I'm redrafting this comment and redrafting is a difficult skill. Plus if it's narrative writing we each have our own view of what constitutes good. I've read novels that have sold in their millions and topped best seller lists but they didn't float my boat and I didn't think they were well written. I think there are also many teachers who view redrafting as creating a version of the writing that's error free based on the teacher's marking and feedback. I guess it's whether you're trying to help your learners to express themselves in the best way they can or get a good mark.
